Steven Defour

Steven Defour was born in Mechelen, Belgium on Apr. 15, 1988. Until now, he has played for four football clubs –the Racing Genk, the Standard Liège, the Porto, the Anderlecht and the Burnley. Defour started his football playing career from local football club KV Mechelen when he was young. In 2004, he transferred to the K.R.C. Genk for previous football club’s financial difficulties. Then he became a professional football player of the Standard by a five-year contract. For outstanding performances and unremitting individual efforts, he was appointed as the captain of the football team at the beginning of his second year.

After severed for the football club, Steven Defour transferred to Portuguese club FC Porto through a five-year agreement. After the first year playing career with FC Porto, he accumulated 37 appearances for the team. When he was 18, he accomplished his first appearance for the Belgian senior team in 2006. I firmly hold that he will become an excellent professional midfielder of the Belgium national football team.

Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne was born in Drongen, Belgium on Jun. 28, 1991. Laurent Ciman

Laurent Ciman was born in Farciennes, Belgium on Aug. 5, 1985. After several years’ unremitting efforts, he gradually grew into an excellent professional defender for Montreal Impact of Major League Soccer and Belgium national football team. In 2004, he accomplished the first appearance with youth system of Charleroi. For outstanding performances and great potentials, he caught the attentions and interests of top Belgian football club. After signing a three-year agreement with the Club Brugge, he moved to the Club Brugge in Jun. 2008. But he was loaned to Kortrijk in the 2009–10 season.

In the period cooperating with the football club, he accumulated eight goals in 194 matches prior to leaving the club in 2015. Jan Vertonghen

Jan Vertonghen was born in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium on Apr. 24, 1987. Played as a professional defender for football club Tottenham Hotspur and the Belgium national team, he was appointed as the captain for Spurs on the basis of outstanding performances and great potentials. In 2006, he started his senior career with the Dutch club Ajax, accumulating 28 goals in 220 appearances. For outstanding performances and leading ability on football fields, he was appointed as the captain for Ajax in 2011. During this period, he won Eredivisie and KNVB Cup for two times respectively. In 2012, he was awarded the name of Dutch Footballer of the Year.
